Iranian ‘Bomb’ goes on new poster

Iranian feature ‘Bomb a Love Story’ has revealed new poster after six weeks of public screening.

The film that launched a promotional campaign almost two weeks ago has now published a new poster in order to gain more success at the box office.

Selling just about sixty billion rials in six weeks has sent the feature among the best-selling titles currently on Iranian silver screens.

Director/writer/actor Peyman Maadi's ‘Bomb a Love Story’ has recently been nominated for two awards at the 12th Asia Pacific Screen Awards.

The flick depicts romance in the war stricken Iran in the late 80s. It is about Tehran, the Iranian capital which is being bombed and terror is spread among the civilians.

It shows how love and emotions, life and hope wash away the horrific image of the war.

The acclaimed title won several nominations at the 36th Fajr Film Festival in Iran, went on screen at the 2018 Bogazici Film Festival in Turkey, and is competing at the 2019 ÍRÁN:CI Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

The director stars in his own flick, alongside Siamak Ansari, Habib Rezaee, Siamak Safari, and Leila Hatami.
